I think colors coming back is cool, especially for people that never played it yet, but personally I’m not excited about it.
It was a decent game at the time of release, my main gripe is I want more than just colors to be ported over, especially when you look at how Mario 3d all stars brought over 3 games at once (Excluding the scummy way Nintendo did it). Whatever it is, it’ll probably be announced this summer, assuming sega decides to stop acting all secretive over game that’ll probably be disappointing lolĮDIT: so just wanna clear up something here: I’m not trying to sound entitled because sonic colors was the one that got a port. Welp, one thing’s for sure: this isn’t the “big announcement” we’ve been waiting for sega to say something about for the past 4 years.
But a colors remaster? Out of anything that could’ve been ported, that’s the lamest most uninspired thing they could’ve done. Seriously just buff some characters and pop online on there and you’ve got a new sonic racing series with tons of potential. Quote 'Blinding' and 'too bright for my eyes' although (IMO it looks perfectly fine to me) So. Remastering the Unleashed Reshade preset by Raphpower-S on YT.
#Sonic colors remastered mods#
Sonic heroes hasn’t seen the light of day since it was released, the advance trilogy is has yet to ever been ported, the riders games could become some serious hitters if they just alter the difficulty and learning curve, even sonic R would’ve been cooler if you ask me. Please use HedgeModManager, Direct3D 9 EX, and Better FxPipeline with the 'Unleashed' Bloom type to fully utilize this mods features and get the best out of ReShade. really? Of all games they could’ve ported, it was the one sonic game that really doesn’t need it? I mean sonic colors was ok at best, but man that game was 95% 2d or quick step sections, they couldn’t have even done generations?
